We are New Zealanders living in Australia, and we wanted to be married on 17 November 2015, to seal our love on the 21st anniversary of the day we met and fell in love!Because of Australian law, we were unable to marry in Melbourne. Liz Maluschnig was recommended to us and we were soon in contact by Skype with her, to talk through our ideas for our special day. Right from the first 'hello' we knew that Liz was the perfect choice for us as a same sex couple – we felt only happiness, sincerity and a genuine warmth coming from Liz, and we knew immediately we needed to look no further for a celebrant. Over the next few weeks, we emailed each other a few times until we were all happy with the words we wanted to use, and the finer details that go with such a celebration.  

Liz made lots of suggestions to us which fine tuned our ceremony into such a great experience! When we arrived in Wanaka. 

Liz came round to our friend's home and we carried out a 'practice run' to make sure the wedding would flow perfectly – and of course it did!

We were just so thrilled with everything Liz did for us and certainly recommend her as your celebrant of choice if you are looking for a wonderful wedding in the Lakes area – you won't be disappointed!

We live in Australia, although a beautiful country it doesn’t measure up to the quaint, picturesque New Zealand. We planned our Wanaka wedding with about 12 months up our sleeve and from the moment we read Liz’s email and skyped with her, we knew that she was the perfect person to bring our magical day together. Liz truly is a wonderful person with a genuine and soft nature, and we felt so comfortable with her. She made our already special day even more special. The caring, thoughtful and gentle attention she paid to the entire process made it relaxing and effortless.

She even drove around with us a week before the wedding to help us decide on the right location, which was above and beyond our expectations.

We can’t thank her enough for being so kind, we were blessed to have her come into our lives.
